After looking at it some more, it appears the VIN plate might be in two
pieces. Could the original plate have been cut out around the rivets and the
Alpine VIN plate slid underneath?
I bet it's really a Tiger. The seller heard of this group and knew that he
could really stir things up by doing the reverse of the norm....downgrading
the product. Now what will we call this one...."Talger" ??
