Is reference to clock oil WD-40 would be a poor clock oil. It evaporates in a short period of time. It's main quality is moisture absorption. I have been using Mobil 1 transmission oil. It seems to work well and a quart can oils a lot of clocks. John Logan **************************************Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products.
