I put a 'new' 302 H.O motor in my Tiger last year and it has aluminum
Trickflow heads on it. I used 'Ford racing' valve covers as my 'Tiger' ones
were still on back order from Rick. They fit the roller rocker heads with
the baffles taken out and minor grinding. There is a LITTLE room between the
valve covers and the firewall but I doubt that they could be removed without
lowering the engine a fair amount... You can see what it looks like here...

Subject: [Tigers] Aluminum heads and firewall clearance
Do any of you have any experience trying to fit a 302 with aftermarket heads
like the Trickflow Twisted Wedge in the engine bay of your Tiger? Is there
enough clearance at the valve cover to make it work?
Thanks.
Phillip
