"I need some advice about vapor lock"
I had to same problem with a Edelbrock low-rise manifold and carb. The
solution was to put a one inch plastic spacer between the carb and manifold.
This insulated the carb from the manifold heat. If you have a high rise
manifold you will have to measure carefully before you use a spacer.
