Thanks for all the good advice. BTW, I'd been running silicon fluid in brake
and clutch circuit until last fall when a new slave went in and rear brakes
were zero timed after flood rebuild
NOTE: What a much better feeling DOT 4 is after silicon. Since I now
overwinter the car in a heated garage, and have stainless brake pucks, with
stainless sleeved slave, I can't see ever going back to Silicon fluid
Anyway, the reason I switched years ago to silicon was due to its
hydroscopic tendency.
