Mark, My recollection is that the complaint was the ride was too high, so it was recommended to leave out the rubber donut cushion - then it rode too low. But not all springs of the same rate are equal and having later installed springs from Coil Spring Specialties, I found them far superior to those sold by CAT. My recommendation for spring rate for mild street use would be in the 350-375# range and use a stiffer anti-sway bar too. Bob |
