Rather than try to find an original, I enlarged the hole in the housing
to accept a small socket assy I found at the local auto parts store.  It
took an easy to find bulb, too.  This was years ago, so I don't remember
part numbers, but most auto parts stores have a selection of general
purpose replacement sockets.  So take your housing along and pick
something close, then make it fit.
