water pumps

Hey,
     My buddy is considering an Edelbrock water pump to help with his chronic 
overheating.  He found it in the Summit catalogue @ about $165, but he also 
found a Milodon (sp.  -1?) for about $100.  The Edelbrock claims twice stock 
water flow, but the Milodon claims thrice & for cheaper.  Does anyone have any 
experience with the Milodon or (too much to hope for) any comparative knowledge 
of the two?  Thanks!
