Instead of SS 4-40 screws, consider nylon screws. Fewer corrosion issues to worry about, etc. I have these alone holding all of my side strips on. I can't say how long they last, since mine have only been in use since 1977... I used the "pan head" type that fit exactly inside the trim. I put nuts on the back where I could, and just glued the rest in with RTV. Stu |
