I did the conversion to a single-wire alternator last year, and it works great. Only trouble is, the old idiot light won't go out when I rev up the engine. I took out the bulb for a while, but I missed that little red light that used to go out when the generator was making juice. Is there any way to make this red ignition light function with a one-wire alternator? (I know, I know, a dumb question, but I really like that little red light!) Dave |
