I was always told to take an engine ,or any timing related pieces apart with the engine at tdc. That way all your timing marks on cams, gears etc line up and the rotor points to #1 on the cap. I guess 10 degress advance might be just that touch closer for the #1wire on the cap. Make sure it's at tdc not 180 out. |
