I had the rear generator bearing seize shortly after I got my Tiger. Any generator failure is not a simple on-the-road fix if it were to happen - it was one of the reasons I switched to a commonly available alternator. Other than that... I'd say the fulcrum pins are a must-check item prior to any extended trip. The original fuel pump is also a common failure point, by all accounts. Theo |
