Question on dressing gaskets... I always thought (perhaps eroneously) that paper or felt gaskets did not need to be dressed prior to installation as long as the surfaces are clean. Dressing means using a liquid - liquid gasket, silicone, etc on both surfaces to ensure a tight seal. You thoughts on dressing and if you dress what is your dress of choice - no kilts or mini skirts please! Rob |
