Tire Age

A while back I had asked about old tires.  Everyone agreed old tires were
bad but there were varying opinions on how old is too old.  Here is an
article citing a push for government standards for tire age, it says that 6
years is the auto industry consensus.  I'm not a big fan of government
mandated safety regulations but I guess in some cases it makes sense.
