If you're looking for an inexpensive "ready-made" hoist system, check out http://www.classictbird.com/p64-67topsws.pdf Look on the last page -67 -(pdf file of 4 pages) for the Hard Top Hoist. I've had one for about 5 years and it works just fine. Just screwed an eye bolt into the garage joist and hooked the pulley to it. If you want, I'll make some pictures available.
