Listers,
I have not nseen this come up, so I thought I would present it to the list.
I have been using ATE racing fluid and it is an alternative for those that
choose not to use silicone brake fluid. It has a high boiling point and they
claim it can be used for "extended fluid changes", but I change it every 2
years. What makes this product nice to use is that they have a blue fluid that
can be used on alternative changes and it makes it easy to tell by the color
change when the new fluid has reached the bleeder.
Here is a link to one vendor with some information and some comments on Dot 5
fluid.
