ML,
The mystery part was bolted between the Tiger body main rails. Straps were
looped around the hooks to pull the car down to a trailer bed.
The part originally came from a 1946 International Harvester Engine Driven
Wire Tying Haybailer. The two pair of hooks guided the wire from two large
coils
to the bail as it was being compressed by a large plunger. When the bail was
complete, the wire was tied and cut while the bail was being pushed off the
end of a chute.
