Partially. What really needs to happen is that the tie-rod balljoints need
to be located further outboard relative to the steering spindle axis, and
you run into the brake disc long before you get even close to where it needs
to be. You may recall that one of Doane Spencer's trick mods on the #55
Tiger was to reverse the discs on the hub, thereby locating them further
outboard, which in turn let him cant the steering arms further out. However,
you can't flip the discs on the hub without using wheel spacers, or else the
caliper won't fit inside the wheels - there's always another wrinkle.
