While the air gap manifold accomplishes it's purpose other solutions also 
work. So while the iron is still hot.....Cermakrome on headers will reduce 
underhood temps by as much as 25%. Or heat barrier that is used in the inside 
of 
headers can be applied to the underside of the intake and accomplish the same 
heat reduction for less than half the price of the new manifold.
