alternator bracket

Dave, I used a stock Ford bracket, shaped like a triangle.  Common in
junk yards, or you can get a chrome version from JC Whitney for around
$10.  You have to modifiy it to fit, but this is not that hard.

It provides a very stable mount, looks stock, uses the bolt holes in the
head, and is cheap.

The one wire 80A alternator in chrome was $80.  No core charge.
