Thanks, Tim. I ended up going to the local auto parts store, and getting some 5/8-11 x 1" bolts, as well as a 5/8-11 tap. The holes were definitely carboned up enough to warrant chasing the threads with a tap. I installed the bolts with some blue LocTite and even managed to index them so that the hex nicely lined up with the sides of the head ;) Total cost $1.50 for four bolts (only two required) and about $14 for the tap.
