Smoky Tailpipes

I was wondering if anyone could offer me some suggestions on my problem.
I am getting some whitish smoke from my tailpipes. It seems as though
they are from being too rich, and it smells that way as well, but
adjusting the mixture does not help. I have a 600 cfm carb on it, so I
don't think it is too big or anything. I also don't lose any water, so I
am not thinking it is water from the heads. Any suggestions?
