I've got a 185 thermostat in my Tiger after years of using a 160, and I think it runs better, especially in cooler weather. My old marginal radiator kept the temp up to 190 or more in warm weather, but that's been fixed. Mine now runs about 190 on the gauge, thought to be fairly accurate for Lucas stuff. Stock fan, shroud, new 3 row core in the stock end tanks. etc. The gauge rarely goes higher, except under the usual circumstances, traffic jam on a hot day, etc. Stu |
