Andy,
If your Alpine is actually a Series 1, you will find it has narrow
early Husky leaf springs and spring mounts. From Series 2 on, the frame was
altered to accommodate wider leaf springs which are the same width on all other
Alpines and Tiger. To use a later Husky, Alpine or Tiger complete
differential,
you will have to alter the mounting saddles on the axle housing.
You also have the old style trunnion front suspension (rather than the
later ball joint suspension) and they use different backing plates, calipers
etc. Tiger rear axles are a completely different animal. I hope that helps!
