C4OE-8505-A is the casting number of your aluminum water pump.

I do not believe that any of the small block Ford engines 221 thru 302 had
anything but an aluminum timing cover.

C4OE-6059-B timing cover is an early design with a freeze plug inserted
where the oil filler tube was on non emissions engines from 1962 to 1964.

C4OE-6059-A was a new casting for 1964 and eliminated the oil filler tube
section of the previous design.

Hello Jay,

I checked the p/n on my Cobra's timing cover and it's C40E-8505A.
My cover is made of aluminum, so if yours is made if steel or cast iron
that may accounts for the different numbers.
