Tigers,
I hope you all got to see Derek's Bugatti picture (and the great
"Brooklands" boat tailed Riley) on his web site.
E-mails to him are returned as being "postponed", and the web site no
longer has the pictures. The news from Sri Lanka is NOT good. As you
may know, Derek's new wife is Swedish, and attached to their Embassy there.
Their President has declared a state of emergency after she sacked the
ministers of defense, interior and information, suspended parliament and
deployed troops around key installations in a head-on confrontation with
the cohabitation government. (see news)
That may be why the site is down, and the mail delayed. Let us hope,
for them and the country of Sri Lanka, that peace comes soon.
