Can any listers offer tips on finishing the exterior of gas tanks? I know about the gravel wash and Eastman-type coating for the interior. What has been successful in cleaning up and finishing the exterior? Mine have a nice patina of rust in some areas and what seems like a sticky varnish in others. Can I just sand them down and apply some Rustoleum? Thanks! Graham B382001466 |
