I hope no one is forgetting The Rolex Vintage Festival at Lime Rock Park
this coming Labor Day weekend.
Aug 30 is practice time, Aug 31 is no racing but huge car show on the
track with Shelby-related cars like Cobra's, GT350's and GT500's, AC 289
Sports (the 427 chassis with small blocks), Saleen's, McLaren-Mustangs
and Capri's, Griffiths, Tigers, Mustangs and SVT Cobras(usually admitted
free and get to park on the track!!!). Opposite side of track shows off
Vipers and classic sports cars, and this year BMW will invite all local
M1 owners and will fly in a few cars from the Mutter Land.
Monday, the First, is race day for the vintage cars. Huge fun,
relatively cheap to attend, and the paddocks are open to the public.
Bring moola for Driving Impressions gift shop, and bring moola and parts
