Stehpen, you have hit one of the design flaws, that is easy to fix. The
clamp for the actuator arm is slotted, with a bolt that is suppose to
hold this arm on the pedal assembly, and allow adjustment. Problem is
it slips, like you said.
Solution, disassemble, and using a Dremel make the slot larger. The
clamping force will then be enough so that the bolt does not bring the
two half's together, and allow slippage.
