I agree that the most probable cause of your off-idle stumble is the
accelerator pump.
There must be no clearance between the lever and the cam. You can check that
by lightly pushing the lever up and down. If you hear any rattle then lengthen
the adjustment screw on the lever that has the spring.
Also, there are two holes to mount the cam. One gives a faster ramp up than
the other. The cam should not lay on the flat portion of the cam. If it does,
that will allow the cam to move a few degrees before it starts to actuate the
lever. If you have a white accelerator cam, you can get a more aggressive cam
like a red one.
