I agree. As I was going to college ('66-71), I drove past Ernie Boch's
(a legendary Boston area dealer of questionable ethics) Dodge
dealership, and used to see Sunbeams there. He had 3 or 4 of those
Alpine GT sedans sitting out back for YEARS after they were new. Well a
couple years anyway. I was tempted, but I really wanted a convertible
for my first car. Which is another story...
