Robin, Here's some advice. If you have double or triple valve springs, many engine builders would recommend breaking in using only the outer springs to reduce the chance of damaging the cam. http://www.fast351.com/car/dyno2000.htm Here's an article on Yamaha bikes, but it has a potpourri of advice from 'experts'.
