Hey guys,
Does it occur to anyone besides me that a cheap black coating over
the top of expensive chrome may have just been a PROTECTIVE
coating.. that SHOULD have been removed after delivery?
Or maybe that hidden chrome was there to protect the black?
My wife flatly refuses to remove the clear plastic protector over
the screen on her cell phone, on my identical phone, it was gone
as soon as I opened the box..
Just MAYBE, your DPO didn't remove your black ring?
As far as the original photos, chrome has a unique property,
it reflects the dark ambient light.. therefore looking black in a photo.
