Michael, I would recommend the Eldebrock aluminum pump that will save 6 lb. As with any replacement pump, you will have to press the fan and pulley mounting flange rearward to match the location on your present pump. Press only on the end of the shaft to keep the load off the bearings. Cut the shaft off to match your old pump so you can get the fan and pulley between the radiator. You will probably need a small bushing to adapt the fan and pulley hole to the new shaft diameter. John Logan |
