To add to Steve's praise,
Koni's are completely rebuildable. If they should every happen to wear out,
Koni can rebuild the unit. Although not cheap, they reapply period decals to
them for a correct original appearance as well.

Andy,
I replaced the original Armstrong shock absorbers with the Special Tiger
application adjustable Koni shocks, front and rear. There were a limited
quantity made, and the order was split between CAT and Sunbeam
Specialties. They are absolutely excellent shocks, and specifically
made, under special order, for the Tiger. I have owned Konis since my
1959 (new) Porsche and they are adjustable for wear and well made. BUT
they are not cheap,
I'd ask Rick if he has any left, or the CAT warehouse. You will never
have to replace them, and they are quickly adjustable for racing,
street, or autocross uses.
