Sounds like the Diane "left coast crowd." 
As far as I'm concerned drive it if you like it. The size of the car makes no 
difference if you're just plain a crappy driver. 

Let's see, my V8 powered SUV get 19mpg in town and 24 on the highway doing 70 
plus and carrying all six of us and two large Labs (I'll have high quality 
Lab pups for sale at the beginning of summer, flamers pay more and get the 
runts.)
