Erich, I agree with Larry it is ebony. If you choose to use epoxy, stain and put some finish on the outer part (light color) wood, then put epoxy in the missing area. If epoxy gets into the grain of the light color wood it will not take stain ever!! After the epoxy sets you can sand then put more finish on the entire wheel. |
