I'm surprised that UPS won't ship it. I just recently bought a roll bar on 
ebay
and it was, oddly enough, shipped by UPS from Texas!

The seller had packaged it up by wrapping the bar in cardboard and forming a 
triangular shaped box, rather than a full rectangle. Maybe this got under 
there size limits?
