Against my "shoulder devil's" better judgement I am going to swap the
tires I have on my bean hole rims onto the LATs. They are Pirelli
185/70-13 and are in good shape.
I am also planning on adding tubes to decrease the possibility of
loosing a wheel. What are your thoughts about tubes?
Thanks,
Malcolm

Malcolm,
For your safety, I would recommend that you not use tires wider than 185
on
those 5.5" rims. And, it would be especially bad to put larger tires on
the
back than the front, which would further compromise stability. Discount
tire
has the Yokohama AVID T4 in 175/70R-13 and 185/70R-13 online for $42 &
$44
with free shipping. The tire is TR rated, which is good to 125 mph, and
treadwear 420. I would pick the 175's, but definitely no bigger than
185's.

If you take this info to your local retail store, they will probably
match
the price.
My $0.02,
Bob
