 My thought exactly John. I think the real lesson here is what probably
every mechanic knows all too well: namely, don't believe anything the owner
tells you about the problem beyond the bare facts, and even then be a little
skeptical.

Now we know the origin of that high-torque starter Larry installed. It was
the Red Model, manufacturered by Herring.
