Does anyone know what resistance the ballast resistor is supposed to be? Mine seems to be about 2.5 ohms when cold and goes up to about 5 when hot(which I think is part of my weak spark problem). If mine really is bad, has anyone found a source for replacement? I have switched to a pertronix ignition and coil, but I'm still suspicious of the resistor. And finally, can I just remove the resistor now that I'm running a coil with internal resistance? Thanks, Joe |
