Malcolm, there are cast iron 4 barrel 289 manifolds made for various
Fords. These are not high rise type manifolds. They have Ford
engineering numbers on them and if you know how to decipher the number
you can tell what year and the original type car the manifold was made
for. For example: C4OE -------- would be 1964 Fairlane, C5OE --------
1965, C6OE------ 1966 etc. The guy probably has a Ford 4 barrel
manifold and can tell by the number it is the correct vintage for your
car. These Ford manifolds are popular with people restoring vintage
Mustangs etc. They are not rare but are not that easy to find anymore.
They fit on a Tiger fine. Gary Franchi
