Fulcrum point

Henry,
If the lash is completely adjusted out of the clutch arm and there is no
free play (or a negligible amount) why does it matter how high the arm sits.
Isn't the fulcrum a function of the distance to each end of the arm. How
does raising help? Maybe my Geometry is a little rusty.
