Dear Editor. First off, good magazine, with lots of useful articles.
Keep up the good work.
I own a Sunbeam Tiger, that has been inspected by TAC (Tiger
Authentication Committee), to insure it is a real Tiger vs a converted
Alpine, which is sometimes called an Alger.
This is very similar to the Ford GT350 issue, although there are lots
more real GT's than real Tigers.
As a TAC Inspector, no you can't inspect your own car, and a Tiger
owner, we appreciate the distinction of real vs converted.
Some poor souls have found out too late that they paid for a fake.
Thanks.
Larry
