Mk1a top boot and little straps.

Two questions tonight about Mk1a top boots.  That is the snap on cover that
hides the soft top.

First,  What is used to secure the leading edge of the top boot to the
vertical metal wall?

Second.  I bought some of the little elastic straps/snaps that hold the top
boot in place when the soft top is up.
How do they attach to the same metal wall.
