I had a similar experience. IT smelled like maple syrup to me. The bulk of the fluid was being deposited to the underside of the carpet. I was lucky and caught it before the carpet was ruined. I used a product called Folex to clean the brake fluid from the carpet. On a similar vain, I replaced the clutch master only to have the clutch slave start to leak within three days. Replaced it also. With the brakes make certain that all the components can stand up to the new master cylinder. If you don't mind I'd like to post your e-mail in the brakes section of the Tigers United forum. Dr. Moonstone |
