Lewis,
The Book of Norman is copywrite protected by Norman, the Rootes Factory
Manual is not. We would not violate the copywrite law. The reason TBON
costs so much is there was a limited printing run, and it has more
demand than the limited supply.
Lucky I bought mine while it was still on the shelves. Nothing
proprietary to Norman's book will be reproduced on TigersUnited.com,
although some fair-use accredited quotations may be. We have not done so
yet, nor envision any use of his unique material.
There is much in Norman's book that is unique, and it is worth having,
if you can get one at a price you can afford. It lists EVERY Tiger that
has ever been made, and some valuable information on fakes. As a
reference manual it is unique. Norman deserves all the credit for the
extensive amount of effort he put forth to publish this reference.
