I, too, have seen these fantastic demonstrations at fairs and large swap meets.

You have to be very careful here, as there is no "magic". It is NOT
aluminum, but a low melting point aluminum alloy that will stick to aluminum.

Notice the word "stick". For decorative uses, or plugging holes that are
not under very much pressure loads, they will work, and can blend with
the background.

But do not depend on this for anything permanent or carrying any load.
Heliarc will give original properties to the repair, witness repairs of
cracked mag (aluminum) wheels.

Nobody has developed a secret magic formula that only they know, and can
only be bought at a pitch mans booth.

Would you like a 200 mpg carburetor?  Got one, if you've got a Loooooong
hill your on top of, and don't intend on going back.
