Mine is stored where I don't frequently access it, so I pull the plugs and
inject oil in the cylinders at the back/top of the piston, then crank it
briefly. A post I saw elsewhere recommended this be done using transmission
fluid, not for its lubricating properties, but to dissolve deposits. I will
be doing this on the weekend, so if any of you know a reason why I should
not, please advise!
Two other things that post recommended that make sense:
Bleed clutch and brakes fall and spring to reduce moisture collection
issues.
Over-inflate the tires to avoid flat spotting if you are not supporting the
car off it's tires.
