STP will increase the oil viscosity and thereby reduce oil consumption. If
you have a 1960 Volvo 544, it will also slowly dissolve the timing gear and
leave you stranded on Hwy 1 in the middle of the night. I hope you don't
have ask how I know.

So, is STP lumped together with Duralube? Is STP an effective additive? Just
